Fine Binding:
Ulysses
Ulysses: A Facsimile of the First Edition Published in Paris in 1922, by James Joyce, Alexandria, Virginia: Orchises Press, 1998. This distinctive facsimile edition of Ulysses begged for a unique interpretation, which meant I had to read the whole bloody book! A terracotta leather spine boasts blind-stamped stream-of-consciousness phrases from the text. Black leather front and back panels with collage are a tribute to Joyce’s puns and allusions. The binding also features Brick bugra endsheets and golden brown rolled leather endbands.
